"MISSION TEAM STATEMENT"
"We believe that a great commitment to the "Great Commission"
(Matthew 28:19-20)
and the "Great Commandment" (Matthew 22: 36-40)
will grow a great Mission Outpost church.
A church with a mission-field focus, that equips and sends it's
members as
missionaries into the world around us.
God showed us his plan in
Acts 1:8 when he said:
"But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you,
and
you will be my witness in Jerusalem, in all Judea, and Samaria,
and
to the
ends of the earth."
With His plan to guide us, we have formed four teams which focus on Local, State,
North American, and World wide mission efforts. Many missionaries at Willow Hills
serve in different teams, but all should look to God for His direction. We want our
teams to be motivated, and mobilized at the inspiration of the Holy Spirit,
because
we believe that:
"WE DO MISSIONS BETTER ..... TOGETHER"
The Great Commission:
"Go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of
the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them
to obey everything I have commanded you." Matthew 28:19-20
The Great Commandment:
"Jesus said, "Love the Lord your God with all your heart
soul and all
your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment, And the second is like it:
'Love your neighbor as yourself.' All the law and prophets hang on these
two
commandments." Matthew 22:37-40 |
